VeriSkills branding & collateral

VeriSkills, backed by QTAC (Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre) is a system that quantifies soft skills and experiences for businesses and individuals. VeriSkills will ensure courses and training programs continue to provide meaning to a person’s skills, credentials and experience, allowing them to be better matched for future opportunities. Backed by decades of research across multiple institutions to validate the most important capabilities for the future workplace, VeriSkills was launched in late 2020.

As part of the launch, I developed an in-depth style guide and a range of collateral including the website, brochures, capability statement, social media templates and digital badges.

Ristorante La Famiglia branding

A branding project for Ristorante La Famiglia, an Italian restaurant based in Woolloongabba, Brisbane.

The owner was born and raised in Molfetta, Italy, and the restaurant specialised in cuisine from this region – Puglia. This inspired the logo which is a stylised illustration of the roofline of Molfetta’s iconic cathedral. They wanted the branding to have a strong connection to their Italian roots and represent the authentic, high quality, yet friendly and approachable feel of the restaurant.

I also designed a custom wallpaper for the restaurant’s interior which combines typography and line art to represent some of the Puglia region’s icons. My work for La Famiglia extended over the years to include business cards, signage, interior decor, gift cards, menus, flyers, social media assets and more.

AFL QLD branding

The AFL QLD Schools Cup is an annual event drawing in thousands of players state-wide. I was tasked with creating the branding for the event, pitching several concepts and eventually rolling out the chosen creative across print and digital formats. This included the printed program, EDM images, social media and website graphics.
